Guide
Send an email
Start with a quick test, then choose the sending method that fits how you already work.
Overview
Use StayPrivateMail to send a secure message, share files or keep a customer informed. Attachments are optional. Customers receive their own organised copies in Keepd, with a secure way to reply or upload files when needed.
Start with a test email
Use the website to send a simple message to an email address you control. Verify your sending address when prompted, write your message and attach a non-sensitive test file if you want to try file sharing.
Use a personal recipient address to test the Keepd notification and access experience. TLS-capable business recipients receive the message in their inbox by default. You can also test a reply from Keepd.

What happens next
The customer receives your message
By default, messages and attachments reach TLS-capable business inboxes using TLS encryption. Personal recipients and businesses without TLS receive a notification linking to Keepd. Copies are also organised in Keepd.
Their own copies are organised
Their own copies of the message and files are kept together in Keepd.
They can return or respond when needed
Customers can find their copies again later, and reply securely or upload files when a response is needed.
Optional: organise as you send
When sharing documents by email, add a #folder
instruction alongside #private to choose a folder for the customer’s copies.
